UPASH – Bari
In April 2025, APOTI implemented a drinking water supply system with a 50m deep artesian well in the Bari village, in the Kaxinawá do Rio Jordão Indigenous Land.
The work included: consultation and alignment with the community, logistics and transportation of materials, drilling the soil (probing), closing the well 50m deep, construction of the service station (support structure for the water tanks, shower and taps), installation of 2 water tanks of 3,000L/each, installation of a 4,000 liter/hour industrial filter, installation of solar pumping (with panels totaling 1320W) and piping of water to the central group of houses.

The village of Bari, home to around 105 people, was one of the villages most affected by the 2024 floods. The entire community moved to a higher ground to avoid further flooding. In less than a year, the community was able to recover: many houses and energy and water systems were built, with the support of APOTI.
