Water and Solar Energy – Morada Nova

Installation of a water pumping system with an industrial filter and a new solar power system for the Morada Nova village, using lithium batteries.

The work, carried out in two stages, consisted of building a new solar power system with three 330W panels, replacing the batteries with lithium batteries, installing a new inverter and controllers, and renovating and expanding the distribution network to all houses. New wiring was also installed for lighting in outdoor areas and a dedicated building for the system.

The water system was completely restored and is now operational, with two 435W panels and a more powerful submersible pump to handle the significant difference in elevation from the well to the water tanks. The plumbing also underwent maintenance, ensuring good distribution to the houses.

The installations were funded by the “Game Huni Kuin: Beya Xinã Bena” project and personal donations.
