Testimonials

“I'm very happy, our entire community is very happy, we have only to thank you. For the first time in our family's history we have access to fresh running water. The water is coming to our house and we will no longer suffer having to carry water around on our heads.”

Dona Dozilda
Community leader - Arco Íris village

“The best water for us to drink is from the well. Before, we drank water from the river and today we are drinking from the well. It's important to us.”

José Cláudio Macário (Txana Maná)
Novo Natal village

“Electricity is important to us, to work on our arts & crafts at night, and also at the school. During the day we can use the projector, the computer.”

José Paixão Sales Macário Kaxinawá

“We've been hearing about this solar energy for a long time. So I am very happy, along with my community, that we received this project for our development.”

Cacique Tomé
Flor da Mata village

“I'm happy that electricity has arrived for us. I'm excited, everyone has a light now. My son built his own house, I was worried about him being in the dark, my two granddaughters eating with very little light at dinner time. The light has come, now it's different.”
