Huni Kuin Solar Technician Workshop

APOTI carried out the first Huni Kuin Technician Training Workshop in Solar Energy and Maintenance in the Morada Nova village. It was part of the project, “Solar Energy and Drinking Water – Kaxinawá Indigenous Lands of the Jordão River,” which involved solar energy maintenance work in about 10 villages.

25 Huni Kuin from 20 villages successfully completed the workshop and are now qualified to carry out minor maintenance on the solar energy systems and solar pumped water installations in their villages.
