Kaxinawá Indigenous Lands of the Lower Jordão River and Seringal Independência
Internet and Rural Telephone
APOTI installed 3 internet and rural telephone systems in the Kaxinawá Indigenous Lands of Lower Jordão River and Seringal Independência as part of an experimental project. The villages Morada Nova, Mae Bena and Nova União now have access to the internet via Wi-Fi, as well as telephone calls.
The communication system consists of an antenna, a rural telephone, cables and a support rod, connected to a solar energy system.
